Looking for some good, clean fun this weekend? Well I have the perfect solution, The East Nashville Tomato Art Festival. In the heart of 5 points in East Nashville, friends and neighbors come out to celebrate the best fruit out there, THE TOMATO!
Festivities include a 5k run, Bloody Mary contest, a tomato Haiku competition, Biggest- Littlest Tomato Contest and even a Red head contest since, well tomatoes are red! Of course the main attraction is all the art. Great artists from all over, in all types of mediums make art dedicated to the tomato. It’s really great work too!

Last year was so fun that I couldn’t pass up not telling everyone about it!
The event starts early Saturday morning, August 9th! This is a kid freindly event with many activites for children and even an art contest for young age groups.
